Gina D's Alessio, B.S.





Gina has been working at the Durham Veterinary Hospital since last 14 years. Gina has a degree in special education but her love of animals led her to join our staff in 1995. Her experience in behavior modification therapy has helped many dog and cat owners deal with problem behavior in their pets, and she works in all areas of patient care in our Hospital. Gina is a certified wildlife rehabilitator licensed to treat and release a variety of wild animals from skunks to bats. Gina lives in Durham with her dogs, Zuby, a retired police patrol Shepherd and Tassie a hound mix.

 

Paula Milnes



Paula is the longest serving technician at Durham Veterinary Hospital. She joined Dr. Levy in 1977 when he purchased the hospital from Dr. Mather. An avid athlete she spends time in many sports leagues and still finds time to teach dog obedience classes here on our front lawn when the weather is good. Paula breeds and shows Whippets and some of her dogs are champions. Paula has a Whippet Sirus who is a certified therapy dog. She and Sirus volunteer at the Guilford Library presenting a program called Paws and Read in which children read to Sirus. They also volunteer at Middlesex Hospice where they visit patients.




 

Joanna Campo B.S., CVT



Joanna joined Durham Veterinary Hospital in the Fall of 2008. She is a certified veterinary technician with more than 3 years of experience. Joanna is a graduate of Quinnipiac University.



 

Michael Lavoie, B.S.



Mike has been working at Durham Veterinary Hospital since 2008 and brings with him 4 years of experience as a veterinary technician. He is a graduate from Southern Connecticut State University. Mike is a certified biology teacher specializing in animal science. Mike lives in Durham with his 4 cats.
